We woke up this morning to rain pounding on the roof. When I was younger, I found that sound VERY romantic....now that I'm old bat, I find it comforting! It rains a lot in this area in the winter and spring.
I took the propane tanks to be filled...they supply the majority of our heat and cooking fuel......and I went to the grocery store and wandered around for awhile, picking up a few things we NEEDED and a few we didn't! Just a normal day at the grocery store.
I made hot turkey sandwiches for dinner....and in the rainy weather, they really hit the spot. We have seen several robins but they are took quick for me and I haven't been able to capture any of them in a picture.
I lived a couple miles from here when I was in grade school. The house is still standing but is off the road so I didn't stop and take a picture. It was a rental and we didn't live there very long anyway. We lived in three rentals in this area while I was in school for the last half of the 3rd grade thru the 7th grade.
Except for Bailey who will go for a walk in ANY weather, the girls have been content to just sleep the day away. US too!
