We woke to another beautiful day today. We took the dogs for a walk around the RV park and instead of leaving them home, we decided at the last minute to take them to the beach with us. We are seeing signs of spring here on the coast.
It was windy on the beach but not off the beach. Wearing coats on the beach made it a perfect day to get out in the fresh air...AND....no fog today!
We took the girls (dogs) to the beach with us today but even with their coats on, it was too cold for Ruby and Lucy so they stayed in their crates in the truck while we walked on the beach. Even if it wasn't cold, Lucy does everything in her power to avoid getting her feet wet!
Bailey is our trooper and she LOVED walking along on the beach, barking at the seagulls and the other dogs.
I love to pick up shells but there are never good shells on the beaches here. We found a few partial shells we liked the texture of so I collected them. Makes me really anxious to get to Sanibel Island in Florida to pick up shells there! THAT had been on my bucket list for some time now.
We came back from beach and I made a new Zucchini recipe I found on Pinterest, did the dishes and now the rest of evening is mine to just play on the computer....like EVERY day~
Bailey LOVES to lay on top of this crate, between the two chairs and look out the window. Ruby was laying in bed with me this am and I got a quick photo of her.
Love your photos of the ocean-can't wait to get to an ocean someday soon(don't care where, just to get there on a sunny day :)). The shells on Sanibel are awesome! We got an"shell lamp" (a lamp with a clear glass base that you can fill with various things)for a wedding present and filled it with shells we collected there. I'm really enjoying your blog and am so glad you are able to make your road trips again! Bailey on his crate reminds me of Teddy-we call him our sun bum as when we can't find him in his regular places(the one sectional of the couch he's allowed on, under my desk or in his crate) we know to look for him lying in the sun somewhere in the house. He always looks so content and I get envious ;).
ReplyDeleteAhhhh, the life of Riley! :-)
ReplyDeleteLove the photos of your girls!
I so enjoy your blog--seeing places I will probably never get to see-- or if I do, won't be able to stay long enough to "get to know" the place. Thanks for letting me travel along :-)
