We are LOVING our stay here at the Thousand Trails in Cottonwood, AZ. We stayed here for two weeks last September so we knew what it was like.  Not all TT are alike...some are beautiful and some are pretty sad...but the price is right.....FREE for two weeks at a time........

When we were driving up here, we saw several police cars stopped with several Hispanic men standing there and two on their knees, on the ground with their hands behind their heads.....Judy figured they were smuggling the Hispanic men over the border.....it made my stomach hurt to see it.....Judy said she just shrugged......she said she's watched so much of that on TV shows that it didn't really faze her.  I guess I need to watch some of those shows to toughen me up!

We went back to the salt mine that is near here but didn't find anything very exciting.  It was fun to get out into the fresh air though.

Mostly, we are just taking the girls for small walks and soaking up the sunshine.  It's been in the high 80s the last two days......supposed to drop to the 70s day after tomorrow and stay in the 70s for the rest of our stay.  70s and sunshine sounds perfect to me!

One of my dMarie sisters stopped by yesterday with her daughter Jenna.  Jenna is graduating from HS this year and is checking out colleges to attend.  She seemed to really enjoy holding the girls and spoiling them.  It was so good to finally meet them in person although it was like we already knew each other!  I wish I could load the pictures!
