While we were in Cottonwood, our "neighbors" came over to introduce themselves and I was so surprised when he got into the pen with the girls. THEY, of course, LOVED him!
We met two Lesbian couples and one of them hosted a "pot luck" dinner for the couples. They have been together for nearly 32 years. Both of the other couples have been RVing for 5 years. Judy didn't feel like going so I went alone. It was fun meeting new people and hearing their stories. We are finding MOST people who camp and RV are very friendly, out-going people. Of course, there ARE always exceptions to the rule.
There was a long "wash" near our campsite that I would take Bailey for walks down so I could look for "pretty" rocks. Judy is a "serious" rock hound and I'm more casual with a "pretty" category.
Judy doesn't always feel like taking walks because of her pain and Bailey is ALWAYS up for a walk.

Which to keep and which to leave behind?
We went rock hunting outside Jerome again. This time, we found the right place. Last time, we were within 2 miles of it but didn't realize it.
Sign just outside Jerome at a "Ghost Town." We've never stopped there...it looks like a junk pile to us but we do see tour buses there so who knows.......
We've seen a gazillion signs warning about the possibility of animals on the road....without seeing the animals until this day....
When we passed them on the road, we could have reached out our windows and touched the Mommas. The baby was adorable!
The rock collection reminds me of a scene in a Lucille Ball movie, The Long, Long Trailer, lol!
ReplyDeleteYou're going to need a trailer, Sue, if you keep collecting ;-)
