65 years ago, my brother was born. Happy Birthday Rod.
Ruby hasn't been feeling well so we drove to Flagstaff to the nearest vet which was a 3 hour round trip. I wasn't wild about the vet we saw. She said Ruby has some sort of sore muscle in her leg and she's on pain meds, which includes an anti-inflamatory, and stay quite for awhile. I HOPE that takes care of it but I'm NOT counting on it.
We DID get to the Grand Canyon today when we got back from Flagstaff. We had the girls with us so they enjoyed walking around with us and ALL the attention they got. Little Ruby was a BIG hit with a lot of people, young and old today and the girls got a lot of petting. I was surprised at how many kids knew the proper way to approach a strange dog. Good job parents!
While we were in Cottonwood, we took a "Pink Jeep Tour" to some old ruins.....it was their "easy on your back" tour and Judy got to ride up front with the driver so it was pretty easy on her back.
They dated how old the ruin was by the wood board at the top of this "window"
How wonderful to be able to see so many "off-road" things that most people who are on a schedule would never be able to enjoy! I am so enjoying your blog :-)
